a five year old ensemble with roots in
Jazz, blues and Latin Music.

Co-foundeers Thomas Greene (on trombone)
and Calvin Holbrook (guitar)
offer up a grooving rhythm section
teamed with a fat horn section
and vocals...

Featured is DANK member and Munich
native Martin Preininger
on alto saxophone.
Rounding out the group are
pianist James Bottoms,
drummer Gino Sciacca,
bassist T. J. Ross
and beteran trumpeter Paul Basa.

Boxing Match...
6:00 P.M.











In commemoration of the world famous
June 22, 1938
rematch between
Joe Louis and Max Schmeling..
They will screen the Fight and  exhibit
boxing memorabilia.
Also, never before displayed originals
from Max Schmeling's
German Clubs membership,
part of the DANK collection.




All events take place at the Historic DANK-HAUS at 4740
N. Western Avenue in Chicago's Lincoln Square
neighborhood. 1/2 block from the Western station on the
CTA Brown Line.
