at La Scala, Holland’s Floriade, Germany’s Oberammergau, the
Rose Bowl, the U.S. Open and many more.

Join us as we travel to Munich, Germany in 2009 to enjoy the
most famous festival in the world, Oktoberfest. This inexpensive
package includes everything you need for this exciting journey!
We include airfare, 4 nights hotel in the heart of Munich, a
traditional German welcome dinner (and beer!), bilingual guide,
one full day at the festival with reserved tickets in one of the 14
beer tents (!), a free day to enjoy the sights of Munich, full
breakfast daily, and an optional locally escorted day tour outside
Munich visiting some of Bavaria’s most famous castles!
Day-to-Day Itinerary

Day One ~ Depart New York's JFK airport (call for pricing from
other cities) on direct Lufthansa flights to Munich. D,B (in flight)

Day Two ~ Upon arrival, meet our local guide in the airport and
travel via private bus to your three-star hotel (upgrade
available) in Munich. Later, enjoy a short, guided city tour of
Munich’s highlights ending with a traditional German welcome
dinner complete with Bavarian music. D

Day Three ~ Each year Oktoberfest is attended by 6 million
visitors who drink more than 5 million liters of beer. Our local
guide will escort you by public tram (just one stop) to the festival
for a full day of oompah bands, Bavarian treats, and non-stop
fun. This evening, you will experience Oktoberfest as the locals
do, with reserved seats in one of the beer tents. Each “tent” has
its own unique character – from the relatively intimate 3,400-
seat Hippodrom to the 9,300-seat Schottenhamel. B,D

Day Four ~ Today enjoy a completely free day in Munich to
shop, eat some great German food, take an optional tour,
explore the city, research the museums or visit the local beer
gardens. B

Day Five ~ Enjoy our specially organized optional (+$97) day
trip with private bus and guide to visit two of Bavaria’s most-
photographed castles: Schloss Neuschwanstein (the inspiration
for Disneyland’s famous Cinderella castle) and crazy King
Ludwig’s Linderhof. B

Day Six ~ Your guide will meet you at the hotel and transfer via
private bus to the Munich airport for your flight home. B
